Conflict Dynamics Profile

The Conflict Dynamics Profile (CDP), an assessment instrument measuring conflict behaviors, is an excellent resource to increase self-awareness and improve conflict management skills. The CDP is unlike any other assessment tool in that it focuses specifically on conflict behaviors, rather than styles. It helps individuals and teams understand how they respond to conflict, what triggers can escalate the conflict, and how to manage conflict more effectively.

Two versions of the instrument—the CDP-Individual (CDP-I) and CDP-360— emphasize an action-oriented approach which leads to real improvement. A thorough Development Guide provides information and tips for coping with conflict and building strong interpersonal relationships.

Emotional Intelligence (EQ-I) 2.0 and 360

The EQ-i 2.0 model of emotional intelligence is based on fifteen competencies grouped into five composites: Self-Perception, Self-Expression, Interpersonal, Decision Making, and Stress Management. The fifteen competencies, taken together, provide a total EQ.

When we turn our attention to these 15 ‘EQ’ competencies, we can make better decisions, communicate with greater clarity, increase our capacity to cope with stress and build stronger, more connected relationships.

Focus Energy Balance Indicator (FEBI)

FEBI is a validated psychometric instrument that measures 4 energy patterns in the nervous system that map to 4  factors of personality, 4 ways of moving, and 4 essential modes of leadership. FEBI doesn’t confine you to a box or confine personality to the head, but rather shows how to work with the body and mind together so you can win on your strengths and use the right energy at the right time.

How does FEBI work?

When you enter the physical state of a particular pattern, the rest of the mind-body system tends to follow, and out come the behaviors of that pattern expressed in a way that’s natural to you. Authentic yet expansive: that’s what FEBI makes possible.

Myers-Briggs (MBTI

The TKI assessment provides insight into an individual’s typical response to conflict situations using one or more of five conflict-handling modes, or styles: competing, accommodating, avoiding, collaborating, and compromising. These modes reflect varying levels of assertiveness and cooperation. By identifying alternative conflict resolution styles and how and when to use them most effectively, the TKI assessment helps people reframe and defuse conflict, creating more productive outcome.

The Polarity Assessment

Polarities are two equally attractive possibilities that exist in tension with each other such as a “part” (for example a business unit) and a “whole” (for example, the entire organization). Overemphasis on one pole to the neglect of the other leads to its “downside” and eventually the “upside”, then the “downside” of the other pole. If not managed well, the polarity cycle is experienced as wild oscillations, leading to wasted time and resources. Poorly managed polarities lead organizations and individuals to create the future they fear. Well managed polarities help them create the future they desire.

Team Management Profile (TMP)

The TMS Team Management Profile (TMP) is one of the world’s leading psychometric profiling tools for personal, team, and leadership development. Since 1985, the TMP has successfully delivered a framework for creating and sustaining high performing teams for many of the world’s most successful organizations.

The personal Team Management Profile highlights an individual's major and two related areas of work preferences on the Margerison-McCann Team Management Wheel. Work preferences are explored in terms of:

  • How an individual prefers to relate to others

  • How an individual gathers and uses information

  • How an individual makes decisions

  • How an individual organizes themselves and others
